CREATIVE WRITING This course delves into genres of creative writing including but not limited to, poetry, memoirs, vignettes and short stories. Students are expected to read, write, listen and speak in a variety of genres in order to establish their own unique writing voice. Students study chosen authors to determine the meaning of their selected pieces and, in turn, use this information to further establish the their own writing style and voice. Students maintain writing folders, create mini-portfolios, and present Google Slides of their own work and/or the creative writing of others. We will present written work at the end of each week.
