Anatomy and Physiology is an elective course that allows students to conduct laboratory investigations, dissections, and use scientific methodology while applying critical thinking and problem solving skills related to the structure and function of the human body. Topics covered will include the basic organization of the body and major body systems along with the impact of diseases. Students completing anatomy & physiology will obtain the necessary skills and be prepared to take on college classes involving biological, nursing and other medically related fields of study.
